We believe that experiencing the outdoors and appreciating nature helps young people to discover their strengths and overcome their weaknesses; we foster a non-authoritarian environment that promotes social responsibility, environmental ethics, leadership and self-empowerment. Based out of the University of Maryland and composed of a skilled student volunteer force, we gear programs towards at-risk and disadvantaged youth in the D.C. and Baltimore area that include rock climbing, backpacking, canoeing, hiking and camping.
